The Residents

  • Each of the 80 one-bedroom units will be equipped with a full kitchen, private bathroom and living area.

  • About half of the units (39) will be leased to low-income single adults, who are working men or women, seniors or veterans, etc. and who earn less than $26,940 per year (or 60% of local Area Median Income)

  • The other 41 units will be leased to single adult homeless men or women who have been referred and recommended for independent supported living by local service providers

    • Each tenant will be screened and selected based on his / her readiness for permanent supportive housing

Notes: All tenants will pay rent, and  tenants’ rent will be 30% of eligible income

This is permanent supportive housing: all tenants will sign individual leases.

Eastman Commons at 1630 Dewey Ave - A Supportive Housing Community is a unique combination of permanent affordable rental housing with supportive services for low income people; a combination of eligible adult working professionals, returning veterans, disabled, elderly, and formerly homeless individuals.

As the Eastman Commons at 1630 Dewey Avenue Housing complex prepared for opening PathStone, a local housing and services provided, was ultimated selected to provide the on-site supportive services to the residents in need.
